The most famous of African American horsman; Isaac, was the man who people considered to be one of the greatest riders in American history. "Isaac was the first jockey to win three Kentucky Derbys and won an asstonishing 44% of all races he rode". Isaac's record has yet to be acheived by any current jockeys, making him a notable African American representative from Kentucky.

Isaac's impresive record lead him to be one of the first jockeys entered into the Jockey Hall of Fame at the National Museum of Racing in 1955. Unfortunately, Isaac passed away at the young age of 34 due to pneumonia. He is now buried at the Kentucky Horse Park in Lexingon, Kentucky where he will always be remembered for his untouchable achievements in the horse racing world.
